The missing player
at your table.

Meeple Mind is an app that plays board games with you. The game stays on the table — real board, real pieces. The app takes one of the seats: it talks, it plays its own strategy, and it wants to win.

Early testers get playtest invites and a discount at launch.

  • Runs on any phone, nothing to install
  • No cameras — it can't even see your table
Meeple Mind voice on
General Voss · playing Red

Three armies are marching on your valley. Nothing personal, soldier.

Then I'm defending with everything I've got.

Voss rolls 6 · 6 · 2 — two down

The valley is mine. Now, about your northern border…

so how does this work?

You talk. It remembers everything.

The app never sees your board. You tell it what happened, in normal words, and it keeps track of the whole game — rules included.

1

Get a game out

Set up like you always do. Prop a phone against the snack bowl, open Meeple Mind and tell it what you're playing.

2

Say your moves

Type or talk: “I take the bridge.” It knows the rules, tracks everything, and tells you if a move isn't legal.

3

It plays its turn

It says what it does — out loud, in character — and you move its pieces for it. That's the whole deal.

game night, saved

Every empty chair, filled

One opponent, or a whole table

Play 1v1, or fill three empty seats with three different bots. Each one has its own style — one hoards, one attacks, one holds grudges.

Retire the automa

Automa decks work, but you end up playing your opponent's turns for them. Meeple Mind runs its own game and actually tries to win. Nothing to shuffle, nothing to look up.

A sub that never cancels

One player short? Someone has to leave halfway through? A bot takes over the seat and the game keeps going.

A teammate, too

It's not just there to beat you. In co-op games it plays on your side — and pulls its weight.

story games

It doesn't just play.
It acts.

Every bot is a character with its own voice, and it stays in character the whole game — trash talk, deals, and a knife in your back at the worst possible moment.

Where this really shines is story-heavy games: Nemesis-style nights, dungeon crawls, long campaigns. A voice at the table that narrates and reacts makes the whole thing feel twice as big.

  • Every character gets its own voice
  • Banter, deals and backstabbing, in character
  • Narration for story and campaign games

MEEPLE MIND (whispering): Something moved in the vents. Probably nothing.

the AI part, in plain words

Yes, it's AI. House rules.

We're board gamers and AI engineers. We know the hobby is wary of AI getting stapled onto everything — honestly, fair. So here's the deal, in writing:

  1. Rule 1

The cardboard is sacred. The app joins your table, it never replaces it. We will never ship a “skip the board” version.

  2. Rule 2

It fills seats, not friendships. Spin it for the night when you're one player short — it's not a reason to stop inviting people.

  3. Rule 3

The AI does the talking, not the thinking. Moves come from strategies we test across thousands of bot-vs-bot games — not from a chatbot improvising.

  4. Rule 4

No cameras, no eavesdropping. It can't see your table, and it only hears you when you press the mic to say a move.

  5. Rule 5

AI images, labeled. We're an AI company, so our product is AI-made and the epic board-scapes on this page are AI-made — every one is marked. The cat is real. If we ever can't tell you something's AI, we won't use it.

Get a founding seat

Playtest invites go out in waves, subscribers first. Founding players get in early, get a discount at launch, and get a vote on which games come next.

Reply “remove” and you're out, no hard feelings.

The plan is simple: no more empty chairs at game night.

questions from the table

FAQ

Which games does it play?

We're teaching it a first batch right now — a mix of classics, heavier strategy games and a co-op. Testers see the list first and vote on what comes next.

What do I need?

A board game, a table, and a phone or laptop with a browser. A mic if you'd rather talk than type. Nothing to install.

How does it know what's on the board?

It doesn't see it. You tell it what happened — “I took the bridge” — and it keeps the whole game in memory, rules included. It tells you its moves and you move its pieces.

Is it actually good at the games?

Yes. Its strategies get tested by letting bots play thousands of games against each other and then against our in-house testers — it's not a joke to play against. The talking is AI — the moves aren't guesses.

Is this going to replace my group?

No. It's for the nights your group can't make it: the missing fourth player, the two-player evening, the campaign that stalled because someone moved away.

What do I get for subscribing?

Playtest invites before anyone else, and a discount at launch. We only use your email for that, and we delete it if you ask.
